Curriculum

The curriculum is structured on not just Yoruba language alone but also on the Yoruba culture. The school curriculum is enriched with contents that are well detailed, properly structured and easy to understand. The curriculum includes, but is not limited to: Reading, writing and Communication in Yoruba language; Histories of Yoruba land; Yoruba culture and etiquettes; Yoruba folklores; Yoruba rhymes, songs and poems for children; Yoruba games, etc .

The mission is to prevent Yoruba language and culture from going into extinction and to ensure that the norms and values of the yoruba people are passed down from one generation to the other.

You will get to learn about the Yoruba language and culture from any part of the world. You will also get to meet new people and make new friends.

FOUNDER

Similoluwa Omojuyigbe is an entrepreneur, educator and microbiologist. She holds a Bachelor`s degree in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. She is a passionate advocate of the revival of the language, history and culture of the Yoruba people. This passion led her to create an e-learning platform where students from all around the world, through individually-paced lessons, can learn from seasoned Yoruba language experts. She has over two years teaching experience. In 2019, she was one of the SDG Global schools Advocates for the Global Schools program of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network-Youths.
