FOUNDER
Similoluwa Kazeem (née Omojuyigbe) is an entrepreneur and educator with a passion for Yoruba language and cultural preservation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Ilorin, and an MBA in International Business from Nexford University.
As a passionate advocate for the revival of Yoruba language, history, and culture, Similoluwa founded Ile Eko Yoruba, an innovative e-learning platform where students from around the world can learn from seasoned Yoruba language experts through individually-paced lessons.
With over five years of teaching experience and a strong commitment to sustainable development, Similoluwa has established Ile Eko Yoruba as a trusted resource for Yoruba language education worldwide. In 2019, she served as an SDG Global Schools Advocate for the Global Schools program of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network-Youth, where she promoted quality education and cultural preservation as pathways to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
