FOUNDER
Similoluwa Kazeem (née Omojuyigbe) is an entrepreneur, educator, and advocate for Yoruba language and cultural preservation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Ilorin, and an MBA in International Business from Nexford University. She is also a certified educator registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
She founded Ile Eko Yoruba out of a conviction that every learner, wherever they are in the world, deserves access to quality Yoruba language education. Under her leadership, the school has grown into a trusted platform serving students across different continents through live, personalized instruction.
In 2019, Similoluwa served as an SDG Global Schools Advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network-Youth, promoting quality education and cultural preservation as pathways to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. That commitment to purposeful impact continues to shape how she builds and leads Ile Eko Yoruba.
